Redesign a pocket park in Clifton to fit the needs of the very active community. Clifton Plaza was created 10 years ago replacing a former single story infi ll building. In the years since its creation, it has become the unofficial heart of Clifton. Since the beloved park has a variety of uses including yoga classes, a pop-up dog park, weekend concert venue, and general community gathering space, the design had to be flexible and include something for everyone.
For a space that is as loved as Clifton Plaza is, everyone has an opinion on how to improve the space. My hope is that the New Clifton Plaza could become a space that works for and encourages the involvement of everyone ages 3 to 93.
